Standing beside each soldier, sailor, airman, and marine is a family whose life is greatly affected by the service their loved one provides for our country. Theirs is a battle of time, energy, and emotion that rarely is recognized outside of the military ranks. At RidgeCrest Baptist Church, we know that our heroes and their families, although strong by themselves, need the support of others around them. We are standing beside them to recognize their contributions and to lend a hand in the battles faced at home. Whether families struggle with household maintenance, child rearing concerns, financial confusion, or emotional and spiritual burdens, we want to assist them in finding the help they need to keep the homefront strong while their loved one is accomplishing the assigned mission, whether on foreign or domestic soil.
The Military Support Ministry at RidgeCrest was created to recognize the service and sacrifice made by our military and their families and to share their unique burdens. In Galatians 6:2, Paul directs us to "bear one another’s burdens in order to fulfill the law of Christ." As families and their loved ones carry our nation’s burden of freedom and life as we know it, the body of Christ will stand beside them to help them shoulder the unique burdens brought on by this honorable call.
